Appreciation post: My old rock hammer from college finally gave out after 15 years, so I bought a new Estwing model last month.
The new one's better balance and shock-absorbing grip made a huge difference during a full day of sampling in the Mojave, reducing my hand fatigue by at least half, so what's your favorite field tool upgrade that actually changed your work?

Finally got a decent pair of boots with proper arch support last year. Game changer for being on my feet all day, my back doesn't hate me anymore.
