Serious question, is a trade school diploma worth less than a university degree now?

Wait, hold on, did I read that right? That guy actually said what everyone's saying he did? I gotta say @hayden_rivera, I give you major credit for not just letting that slide. Most people freeze up in those moments. I've seen this play out before too, and the louder they are the less they actually know. You called it out and that's all you can do.

That old timer who told me to stop quenching in water was right after all

Hold up, I still water quench most of my carbon steel and haven't had a crack in years. Maybe your chisel geometry or normalization cycle was off instead of the quenchant.

Hit 90 days of bokashi composting and got totally different results than I expected

You ever had that same problem where your bin just sits there forever? I feel you @noah_chen17, I went through the same thing my first winter. I live in a basement that barely hits 65 degrees in January, so my first batch took almost five months before I felt okay using it. The heat mat idea is solid, I actually wrapped a couple of those reptile heating pads around my bucket and that did the trick. Also grinding the eggshells finer made a huge difference for me too, they just break down way faster that way.

Unpopular take on table saws: I choose a track saw over a cabinet saw any day

Track saws are totally underrated for job site work. I used to haul a cabinet saw everywhere and it was a pain in the rear. Once I switched to a track saw for sheet goods I never looked back. Makes solo work so much easier and the cuts are dead straight. You made the right call sticking with your track saw.

Watched a crew dig 6 post holes by hand before I said something at a job site in Tulsa

Old habits die hard, some folks just don't know what they're missing with power tools.
