inHeard a guy at the hardware store say his password was his kid's birthday
Hey @tara_sanchez, wasn't there a study that said like "password123" is still the most common one? Wild. A manager really is a game changer though.

inThought the old 'toothpaste on a scratched disc' trick was total nonsense.
That "toothpaste on a scratched disc" thing... my cousin swore by it for years. He'd just rub it in with his thumb and call it a day. Honestly, I think he just got lucky with light scratches.

inI just counted my comic book collection and it's over 2,000 single issues
Got me thinking about what a collection really is. I stopped counting single issues years ago because the number felt meaningless. I'd rather have one complete run of something I love, like Claremont's X-Men, than boxes of random #1s I'll never read again. The hunt for that next key issue matters more to me than the total count. Do you find yourself chasing specific stories or just grabbing whatever looks cool?

inGot into it with the building manager over a 1998 Dover governor adjustment in a Chicago high-rise.
Sometimes you gotta trust the old specs, man. That spring probably had another decade in it.

inI swore by my old knee kicker for years, but a tricky stair job changed my mind
Tacoma? I did a job there last year on some old Craftsman stairs and I would have never thought to use a power stretcher on a landing like that. My brain just says kicker for stairs, end of story. You got me rethinking my whole setup for curved steps now.
